Wax Based Undercoating

The Basics

Undercoating is a chemical applied to the underbody and frame of a vehicle. Undercoating is designed to prevent moisture / corrosive chemicals from causing oxidation on metals (rust).

The chemical make up of this type of undercoating are very similar too the wax you would apply to your vehicle’s paint. During application it will “creep” (drip) into some cracks and crevices.
